Beauty

Beauty is usually described as a property of an object that makes the object pleasing to the eye. The motifs are landscapes, sunsets, people, and works of art. Along with art and taste, beauty is a central theme of aesthetics, one of the main branches of philosophy. As a positive aesthetic value, ugliness is the opposite of its negative equivalent. Besides truth and goodness, it is a transcendental one that is often considered the three basic concepts of human understanding.
